About Moonstone: Moonstone is a gemstone with a pearly sheen that occurs when light entering the stone and refracts in scattering patterns off its thin inner structural layers. It is this property that led the ancient Romans to believe the stone was formed from drops of moonlight. Moonstone has traditionally been considered sacred by many cultures such as India and is today associated by many with love, energy, peace, feminine power, and intuition.
